Un evento que se consolida en el panorama mundial de la música clásica con la participación de jóvenes directores procedentes de diversos lugares del mundo. \nLos cuatro finalistas llegan a esta final que se celebrará en el Auditorio Municipal Maestro Padilla con el objetivo de suceder al alemán Friedrich Praetorius\, ganador de la edición del año pasado y\, para ello\, deberán demostrar su técnica y maestría dirigiendo a la Orquesta de la Universidad de Almería\, que será la encargada de interpretar obras de Haendel\, Verdi\, Mozart\, Gounod y Beethoven. Además\, está prevista la participación de la soprano María Jesús García. \n\nLa expectación que ha levantado como acontecimiento cultural de primer nivel\, abierto a toda la ciudadanía desde la UAL\, es muy alta\, de manera que para reservar una entrada será necesario inscribirse a través de la página web de cultura de la UAL. DESCRIPTION:THIS COMING FALL\, ENLUIS MONTES OLIVAR WILL BE A SEMIFINALIST IN THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL ORCHESTRA CONDUCTING COMPETITION “UNIVERSIDAD DE ALMERÍA” (II CONCURSO INTERNACIONAL DE DIRECCIÓN DE ORQUESTA “UNIVERSIDAD DE ALMERÍA”). THE UNIVERSITY OF ALMERIA HAS ORGANIZED THIS COMPETITION AND WILL BE HELD IN VARIOUS PHASES FROM OCTOBER 28 TO NOVEMBER 1\, 2022. THE COMPETITION IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE VICE- CHANCELLOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AND EXTENSION AND THE SOCIAL COUNCIL OF THE UNIVERSITY. \n  \n \nThe jury has already selected the semifinalists who will participate in the second qualifying round of the contest\, which will be held on October 28 at the Auditorium of the University of Almería. \nAfter an arduous selection task\, the jury of the II International Orchestral Conducting Competition of the University of Almería has chosen\, among 84 contestants from 31 different countries\, the 8 semifinalists who will participate in the second round of the competition\, which will be held next October 28 in the Paraninfo of the UAL. \nThe jury\, format among others\, by the three international conductors Vito Clemente (Italy)\, Piotr Sulkowsky (Poland)\, and Juan José Navarro (Spain)\, has chosen the young conductors who will compete to win the first prize in the second edition of this contest that in a short period is having a great impact worldwide. \nThe selected young directors are Xiaobo Hu (China)\, Jasper Lecon (Germany)\, Enluis Manuel Montes Olivar (Venezuela)\, Clément Nonciaux (France)\, José Ángel Salazar Marín (Venezuela)\, Jeisson German Segura Herrera (Colombia)\, Omer Shteinhart ( Israel) and Dayner Tafur Díaz (Peru)\, as well as four other directors who are reserves. \nOnce the semifinal on October 28 is over\, in which each applicant will have to conduct an ensemble from the University of Almería Orchestra\, 4 candidates will advance to the final who\, after a rehearsal\, will face each other on November 1 in a concert with the University Orchestra and the soprano María Jesús García. The music\, the choreography\, the audience\, the dancers\, the subject matter—controversies abounded. But the young Stravinsky had nailed what was going to take unprecedented priority in music: rhythm. The suite from Alberto Ginastera’s ballet Estancia has become an international hit\, but the complete work is rarely performed.
